Hand Sweating
There is a form of excessive sweating that literally thousands of people suffer from but in many cases, have learned how to mask it well. I'm talking about Hand sweating, or palm sweating.
If you are one of those people who are constantly wiping your hands on your clothes prior to shaking hands or coming in contact with other people, than you are suffering from hand sweating. Another sign of hand sweating is being afraid to pick up anything glass or slippery when you are in public.
You become more and more reluctant to face these situations because you go out of your way to avoid these things that could highlight your hand sweating problem. That fact can be painful to the extreme both mentally and emotionally as well as socially.
If you could find a preventative way to deal with your hand sweating problem, then you will be much more confident when you go out in society, and you will find there is no need to furtively look for a piece of cloth or clothing for you to wipe your hands on before you have to shake someone else's hand.
So you need to find the preventative method out of the thousands that are available that works the best with your body and can help you deal with the hand sweating. It will take a little time to find just the right method, but perseverance is the word here and you shouldn't give up.
Some people resort to using commercially produced antiperspirants, but not only are they sticky and can leave a residue on you hands, also they don't work very well in controlling hand sweating. You will probably feel that they are not the suitable products for you.
And there are other methods you could try that do work for some people... such as acupuncture and ayurvedic practices. With these treatments the root cause of the hand sweating is looked for before any treatment is given. These are all good options for dealing with the dilemma of hand sweating but before you do anything, make sure you consult with a practicing physician in the field. Not doing so exposes you to more problems than you need.
Checking with your doctor before you start your search is a good idea. He or she can point you in the right direction in finding the right treatment for your hand sweating.
